St. Regis Singapore completes ‘sophisticated’ transformation

by Daisy Melwani

The St. Regis Singapore has unveiled its extensive, multi-phase renovation ushering in a new chapter for the House of Astor.

Changes included the reimagining of its 299 guestrooms and suites, signature restaurants, bar, and event spaces, led by design studio FBEYE International.

The transformation is claimed to pay homage to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located just minutes away.

Sustainability was also factored into the redesign, with motion-activated LED lighting and potable water taps incorporated into each room to align with the brand’s eco-conscious ethos.

Three new culinary concepts, Sophia, an authentic Italian restaurant led by Chef de Cuisine Angelo Sergio, The St. Regis Bar, and The Tea Room, have been launched, each offering unique experiences that reflect the brand’s heritage.

“This marks a new era for The St. Regis Singapore – one that continues to honour our brand’s legacy while embracing modern sophistication,” General Manager, Nick Heath said.

The newly redesigned John Jacob Ballroom and five refurbished meeting rooms are also expected to elevate the city’s current meetings and events offering.
