The second edition of AHICE South East Asia, held in Singapore during late February, saw the launch of the all-new ‘INN Tech’ hotel technology summit series, with close to 200 hotel executives in attendance for keynotes, Q&As and masterclasses firmly focused on the latest and emerging hotel technology.

The inaugural event was sponsored by several leading global hotel technology firms – including Principal Partner Agilysys, alongside Gold Sponsors Canary Technologies, Cendyn, FutureLog, Grab for Business, Hotel Key, Hub OS, IDeaS Revenue Solutions, Luxury Escapes, myma.ai, Revinate, Shiji Group and Talk Agency – and ran on the morning of day two of AHICE South East Asia, which drew a crowd of over 700 people.

Key sessions included ‘The Intelligent Guest Journey’, ‘Serving Your Guests More Effectively and Boosting Profitability’, ‘Agile Revenue and Distribution’ and ‘Securing Long-Term Value’, with global insights from leading executives, including Agilysys Vice President and Managing Director, Tony Marshall; IDeaS Revenue Solutions Managing Director – APAC, Jurgen Ortelee; Revinate President and COO, Dan Hang; Shiji Senior Vice President of APAC and Middle East, Steven Hopkinson; Canary Technologies General Manager, Daniel Mourad; Myma.ai Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, David Thompson; Cendyn VP Sales APAC, Greg Barwick; Luxury Escapes CEO, Adam Schwab; FutureLog Senior Vice President, Operations and Global Strategic Accounts, Benjamin Krieg; Mews Commercial Director – APAC, Hayden Aust; Hotel Key VP Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, Mukund Mohan; and Hub OS Head of Sales and Customer Success – Asia, Olesia Bespala.

“In all of our AHICE planning meetings, hotel owners, investors and operators have all said they wanted more technology content and that’s exactly what we have delivered with INN Tech.”

While the INN Tech content program was for three hours on the second day of AHICE, all sponsors also had stands for the entire two days of the full AHICE conference program, providing networking opportunities and exceptional exposure during all of the morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch breaks.

Agilysys Vice President and Managing Director of APAC, Tony Marshall, speaking at INN Tech, AHICE South East Asia

Agilysys Vice President and Managing Director of APAC, Tony Marshall, said the conference provided “an exceptional platform to connect with industry leaders and showcase solutions that can empower hotels to enhance guest experiences and streamline operations”.

“The introduction of the INN Tech Hotel Technology Summit was particularly insightful, highlighting the rapid evolution of technology within the hospitality sector,” said Marshall.

“The networking opportunities were outstanding, and we left with a renewed sense of the dynamic growth and innovation happening across the region.

“The insights gained and connections made at AHICE reinforce our commitment to supporting the dynamic growth of the hospitality sector in Southeast Asia.”

Wilkinson said the INN Tech content will also be widened at future events – at AHICE Asia Pacific in Adelaide (May 6-8), AHICE Aotearoa in Christchurch (August 12-13), AHICE Far East Asia in Tokyo (September 4-5) and AHICE Aloha in Hawaii (October 16) – to include even more elements of hotel technology from on-property offerings to back of house programs.

“From AI to procurement software, in-room entertainment, door locking tech, PMS and RMS systems, digital marketing, robots and more, our INN Tech summits globally will feature even more rich content targeted at our VIP crowd of hotel investors, owners, GMs, VPs, CEOs and more,” he said.

“A limited number of sponsorship and speaking opportunities are currently available for our upcoming events across the globe and we are expecting these to sell fast as the INN Tech summit series continues to attract the attention of the world’s leading hotel technology brands.”

At the upcoming AHICE Asia Pacific conference in Adelaide, INN Tech will be held from 8:25am to 9:50am on Thursday May 8 and will include power sessions on Revenue Management, the Intelligent Guest Journey, On-Property Technology, Serving Your Guests More Effectively and Boosting Profitability, and an OTAs Outlook for the year ahead.
