United Airlines is set to increase its nonstop service between Sydney and Los Angeles to five-times-weekly, effective December 1.

The Sydney-Los Angeles service resumed in September, and with the addition of the two extra flights, United will operate the service on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Customers traveling from Los Angeles will depart for Sydney on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

In addition to the Sydney-Los Angeles nonstop service, United has been operating daily service between Sydney and San Francisco throughout the pandemic to support Australian residents needing to return home, medical professionals, as well as the transport of critical cargo shipments of essential medical supplies, PPE, and mail.

With the expansion of the Sydney-Los Angeles service, United will operate a total of 12 weekly flights between Sydney and its hubs in San Francisco and Los Angeles, offering more convenient flight schedule options and connections to other US cities.
