The launch of Mantra Adelaide Central, a 72-room property formerly known as Quality Apartments Adelaide Central, has been a “valued part” of the 1834 Hotels portfolio, the group stated, adding its refurbishment and transition to the Mantra brand marks a new chapter for the property.
As part of its rebrand to a Mantra, the property has undertaken refurbishment works to enhance the guest arrival experience, including a refreshed contemporary lobby and newly designed guest lounge.
Mantra Adelaide Central offers spacious apartment-style accommodation to suit both short and extended stays, and with the added central location, also appeals to both business and leisure travellers.
“We are proud to see this property transition into the Mantra brand,” 1834 Hotels CEO Rodney Harrex said.

“It reflects the strength of our ongoing partnership with Accor and, importantly, I’m confident it will deliver strong growth outcomes for our owner.
“This rebrand positions the hotel alongside other leading hotel brands in the Adelaide CBD and ensures it is well placed to capture growing demand for centrally located, apartment-style accommodation in the city.”
Owner Greg Garrihy echoed positive sentiments for the brand change, citing commercial benefits as the primary factor.
“I’m thrilled to enter into this partnership with Accor. Having seen the strong commercial outcomes achieved through previous Accor rebrands managed by 1834 Hotels, I’m confident Mantra Adelaide Central is well placed to realise similar growth,” owner, Greg Garrihy said.
